You have a copy of R6:S on the same Uplay account that you linked a Steam version of the game to? It doesn't sound like what I said was really relevant to your situation. So you bought the starter edition on another Uplay account, why do you need to reinstall it? Steam and Uplay versions of R6S are different download files. You should've been more specific, I just bought the starter edition from another Uplay account and can't even play it until i reinstall the game, because My main has all the season pass, thats why it won't confirm the ownership of the game. Remember to note down the info of which account is which so you don't get confused in the future. You should then be able to start with new progress if you launch it through Steam. If you unlink Steam from your current Uplay account and make a new one, then link Steam to this. Buying the game again on Uplay would not reset your progress due to this. All progress is tied to your Uplay account, not your Steam account.
